Thyristor Switching Module (pF-TSM)

Super fast switching solution for low voltage capacitors
pF-TSM enables high-speed switching of low-voltage capacitors through thyristors.
Because of the fast, transient-free switching, the reactive power demand can be
compensated quickly and accurately. This helps & ensures good power quality in the
networks with highly dynamic loads.
pF-TSM can be operated through an automatic power factor controller (APFC), a
solid-state solid state logic, relay, or a programmable logic controller (PLC). It is also
possible to trigger multiple pF-TSM modules to achieve a greater reactive power
compensation. Having a robust and safe design, pF-TSM is easy to operate snd install
and needs minimal maintenance and is compatible with capacitors with or without detuning
reactors. This possible because of zero crossing switching capability.
